Fall Happenings and Back to School

We are homeschooling again this year!  That means... I am having a difficult time finding the opportunity to blog.  It is a little late to post Back to School, but that's ok!  The pictures are cute.

It is hard to believe that Ethan is a Junior this year.  He continues to attend our local high school.  He is involved in Scholar Bowl, Math and Science Bowl, A+ program, Youth Court and Boy Scouts.  He is very busy. 

 

Devin is in 7th grade, Heidi is in 5th grade, Isabelle and Spencer are in 2nd grade, and Riley and Ruth are in Kindergarten. This year has been challenging with three non-readers, but we are plugging along and everyone is learning a lot - even me!

 

 

We celebrated the Ethiopian New Year at a local Ethiopian restaurant.  It was yummy!

 

 

Heidi turned 11 years old and celebrated her 8th family day!!

 

Spencer started Cub Scouts!!

 

 

We also participated in karate and played some soccer!!

 

 

We got a new puppy - she's big and spoiled!

 

 

We also celebrated Isabelle's 7th Family day and Riley's 5th Family day. 

  We also had lots of fun on Halloween.

 

 

 We enjoy staying busy and having fun. We are also really looking forward to the holidays!
